What We Look For...

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to safeguard hotel assets in accordance with the standards of BPR Properties by maintaining control over all receipts and disbursements and preparing the proper analyses for guidance of management. The successful candidate will plan, direct, and manage the provision of accurate, timely, and objective financial data from which informed management decisions can be made and recommend remedial action when and where necessary.  

 

 The Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting tasks including daily revenue review and reporting.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
  • Ensure internal controls exist and are followed for accounting, purchasing and inventory functions.
  • Ability to prepare and review balance sheet schedules and complete financial statements.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Communicate with hotel and home office executive committees status of financial operations on an ongoing basis.

 

The Model Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Master's Degree in Accounting or related area preferred.
  • Four to six years related experience in accounting required.
  • Two plus years' experience in hospitality accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to details.
  • Excellent computer skills; experience with POS, PMS, Data Analytic Software, Time and Attendance Systems and Excel strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
