What We Look For...                                                                                                                             

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to safeguard hotel assets in accordance with the standards of BPR Properties by maintaining control over all receipts and disbursements and preparing the proper analyses for guidance of management.  Plan, direct, and manage the provision of accurate, timely, and objective financial data from which informed management decisions can be made.  Recommend remedial action when and where necessary.  Safeguard owner assets by creating and maintaining sound internal control systems.  Hire the most professional, service-oriented, dedicated highly skilled, trained staff available.  Participate in total hotel management as a member of the hotel Executive Committee.


The Key Responsibilities: 

  • Delegate authority and responsibility to appropriate staff.
  • Oversee all accounts payable tasks and reconciliations.
  • Provides for the orderly reporting of financial matters by developing appropriate systems and procedures.
  • Analyzes variances to budget in operating statement and making appropriate recommendations.
  • Audits weekly costs and expenses.
  • Compiles daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Prepares monthly financial statements.


The Model Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree in accounting or related area preferred.
  • Four to six years related experience in accounting required.
  • Four years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Three or more years of hotel accounting experience required.
