What We Look For...

We're looking for a self-motivated, high energy Accounts Payable Clerk. This is a great opportunity to work in the hospitality industry. If you are ready for exciting and rewarding challenges, great benefits, have a fun personality, a positive attitude and you're a top-notch candidate in your field, we would like to meet you.  Entry level candidates with coursework in accounting are encouraged to apply.


The Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify, code, and input into the computer all invoices and check requests.
  • Process manual checks attaching necessary backup for review by Director of Finance.
  • Disbursement of checks to vendors.
  • Reconcile vendor statements.
  • Set up new vendors in database, including processing credit applications for new vendors.
  • Maintain monthly suspense list of first-of-month payments.
  • Generate weekly cash requirements report for review by the Director of Finance.
  • Maintain all accounts payable files of paid accounts.
  • Maintain accounts payable check registers and verify that all checks are entered properly.
  • Handle receiving and maintaining a log for receipts/dispersal of supplies.
  • Maintain purchase order log.
  • Order of office supplies.
  • Performance of other duties requested by the Accounting Manager, Corporate Director of Finance and/or General Manager.


The Model Qualifications:

  • Must understand basic accounting principles and have a combination of education, training or experience that provides the required accounting knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Experience with multi-user accounting system required.
  • M3 experience a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Hospitality experience a plus.
